We value the work that our employees do, whatever the job role. We don’t believe in ‘minimum age, minimum wage’ so we have a comprehensive pay structure that fairly compensates all employees whatever their age, with our future aim to be able to pay everyone the ‘Real Living Wage’. The Real Living Wage is the only rate calculated based on real living costs.
To allow us to reach this aim, we are staging changes and will continue to utilise an age banding structure to allow us to do this. However, the minimum rate we offer in our structure is that advised for those over the over the age of 21 in the National Minimum Wage (NMW), which we offer to all those aged 16-19.
